The Hands Behind Etsang Dieta

Etsang Dieta is headed by five skilled members passionate about business, the community and shoe manufacturing. Etsang Dieta was founded in 2010 by late Ms. Mary Nkopane who gained her skills from her former employer Mr. Bruno Tarasoni, Mr. Tarasconi continued to guide and train Etsang Dieta in shoe production specifically during the introduction of the business. Etsang Dieta’s first customer was Social Development and it is currently still the company’s biggest customer. The orders made by Social Development have increased annually due to the advancing quality and production structures of our company.

Board Structure

Neo leads our cooperative with vision and strategic direction. With expertise in Public Relations, she drives our marketing initiatives and builds valuable relationships with clients and partners. Her leadership continues to open new opportunities for Etsang Dieta while honoring our founding principles.

Etsang Dieta is a Cooperative meaning that is has more than one director or official. We have five board members and a board system where every share issued is of the same class, ranking and nominal value. Although this is so there are different assigned positions and portfolios to enforce the division of duties, order and a formal structure within our board.

Grace oversees our financial health and human resources management. Her meticulous attention to detail ensures our cooperative maintains sound financial practices while creating a supportive environment for our growing team. Her expertise in both financial management and human development has been instrumental to our growth.

Michelle brings projects from concept to completion with skill and precision. Her project management expertise ensures our manufacturing processes run efficiently while maintaining our high-quality standards. She coordinates our production timelines and helps implement improvements across our operations.

Beyond our leadership

In 2010 Etsang Dieta had 15 workers employed and has currently employed, trained and transferred skills to 54 employees to date.
